Taking part
Section titled “Taking part”Do I need to sign up or stake?
Section titled “Do I need to sign up or stake?”No. Hold at least 10,000,000 tokens in a regular wallet through a whole round. The hook records your balance every time your tokens move.
I just bought. When do I start counting?
Section titled “I just bought. When do I start counting?”From the next round. Tokens bought during a round count from the start of the round after it, as long as you keep them. See the lowest-balance rule.
I sold a little. What happens?
Section titled “I sold a little. What happens?”Your tickets for the current round drop to your new balance at once. Buying back doesn’t restore them until the next round.
Does using several wallets help?
Section titled “Does using several wallets help?”No. Tickets in several accounts add up to the same total, and each prize is a separate weighted pick. Your expected share equals your ticket share however you split.
Why isn’t my account in the table?
Section titled “Why isn’t my account in the table?”One of these:
- its balance is under 10,000,000 tokens;
- its owner is a program address, such as a multisig vault or a locker;
- the table is full, and your balance is smaller than the smallest entry in your account’s 16-slot window;
- a draw was pending when you arrived, and getting in would have meant replacing someone.
Once you qualify, call sync with your token account, or make any transfer. See the holder table.
Does trading a lot raise my chances?
Section titled “Does trading a lot raise my chances?”No. Trading adds to the pot, but tickets come only from holding, and every trade costs 2%.
How often are draws?
Section titled “How often are draws?”Whenever a round fills, so it depends on trading. The floor steers toward rounds of about an hour. Only one draw can be pending at a time, so draws come at most about every 5 seconds, and once a round is 12 hours old anyone can close it. There is no schedule.
Why don’t the website’s paper tickets match my odds exactly?
Section titled “Why don’t the website’s paper tickets match my odds exactly?”The website draws one paper ticket per 0.1% of supply, rounded down, with at least one for every holder in the table. The draw itself uses your exact lowest balance. See the website’s ticket display.
Prizes
Section titled “Prizes”How big are prizes?
Section titled “How big are prizes?”Each draw pays the free pot times , where is the time since the previous draw’s commit: about 20% after an hour, 93% after 12 hours. The winners split that 60/25/15. The pot’s size depends on trading volume. No amount is promised. See The payout rule.
Can one account win twice in a draw?
Section titled “Can one account win twice in a draw?”Yes. Each prize is a separate pick, so the same account can win more than one.
How do I get paid?
Section titled “How do I get paid?”You don’t have to do anything. Whoever reveals the draw sends your prize to your wallet’s USDC account in the same transaction. The transaction carries one memo listing every delivered prize, such as 777 · round 41 · 1st 1234.56 · 2nd 514.40 · 3rd 308.64 USDC, and it shows up in your own wallet history.
What if I don’t have a USDC account?
Section titled “What if I don’t have a USDC account?”The reveal creates one for you in the same transaction and takes an account fee of min($2, max($0.60, 1% of the prize)) from your prize, to repay the rent. A prize under about $0.61 is too small to cover that, so it stays in the pot for the next draw.
What happens if trading stops?
Section titled “What happens if trading stops?”Draws carry on through the 12-hour fallback, whenever someone calls it. Each one pays about 93% of what is left. With no swaps at all in the round, a draw that would leave under $5 pays out everything, the jackpot included, and the pot ends at exactly zero. If even one swap happens in those 12 hours, the jackpot stays and keeps building.
What is the jackpot?
Section titled “What is the jackpot?”A separate prize that builds from 20% of the pot’s inflow. Each draw pays it with the chance , so about once per 48 hours on average. It is capped at 5 times its mean, with the excess flowing to the free pot. A dust draw sweeps it only once trading has stopped completely. See the jackpot.
Why USDC?
Section titled “Why USDC?”The curve is priced in USDC, so fees arrive in USDC and prizes are paid in it.
Can anyone take the pot?
Section titled “Can anyone take the pot?”There is no instruction for it. raffle-pot pays out only when raffle-hook’s signer PDA signs, and raffle-hook signs only prizes and bounties. Both programs are deployed with no upgrade authority.
Can the rules change?
Section titled “Can the rules change?”The raffle’s rules are compiled into its two programs, which have no upgrade authority. The fee and its split are set in the curve’s config at launch. Meteora can upgrade its own curve program. See Risks and limits.
What does the team get?
Section titled “What does the team get?”The creator share: 16% of the fee after Meteora’s cut, which is 0.256% of each trade’s value. It builds up in Meteora’s curve program and is claimed from there. It never passes through the pot.
Who runs the draws?
Section titled “Who runs the draws?”No one in particular. The commit happens inside the swap that fills a round. Reveals, which also deliver the prizes, fallback commits and fee collection are open to anyone and pay bounties. The team runs a public crank, the engine, as a backstop, with no special rights.
How can I check a draw?
Section titled “How can I check a draw?”Read the status block and recompute the winners from the slot hash and the frozen tickets. See Verify it on chain.
